Welcome to the world of overdramatized titles.

So, it was about time to give my journal some love. It's an aspect I tend to neglect, as I'm not a journal/blog reader type, myself. It always depends on the kind of content it includes, but most of it seems to be public soul striptease or commercials, two things I can't quite stand.

This certainly leads to the question why I'm writing this right now, and what I'm going to write. To be perfectly honest, all I care about is to get the last entry off the front page. There's just something sad about reading really, really old news about my own damn life on a page I tend to visit on a daily basis. So, yaaay, it's random news snippet time.

- Just got back from Leipzig Book Fair 2009. Met some great people there, did some professional networking, did a lot of basic introductions into the world of RPGs. Besides some details, just what I expected. Brought parts of my personal portfolio with me, got some nice motivation out of people's reactions. Good stuff.

- NOVA got delayed again, and it's not only my fault, but I did my part in that. Basically spent 3 months completely blocked out of working, because some Uni stress (at least it was worth it, I'm happy how the semester turned out) and a combination of personal problems. It sucks, but meh, can't do anything about it except moving on and doing my job.

- I've got two weeks of holiday left and tons of illustrations and Uni stuff to do. Yay. Hope to find some time to paint some wh40k models, though. You gotta have some distraction from time to time, right?

- Cats pissed my scanner to death. Seriously. Gotta get a new one, purely digital painting still ain't my pair of shoes... although I'm getting there.

- Not much else going on in my life, and that's a good thing.

That's it. Have a nice day, week, month, or year, depending on how long it takes me until I get angry at my outdated journal page again.
